How the consulting is structured
Consulting starts with business problems and processes, not with a list of tools. The goal is a small number of use cases that pay off measurably and can be implemented with the data and people already in place.
- Assess AI maturity: strategy, data, processes, skills, governance
- Collect use cases and rate them by value, effort, risk and data availability
- Measure a baseline and build a business case per use case
- Run a pilot with clear success criteria and owners
- Scale: architecture, operations, training internal AI champions
Why SMEs don't need a large AI team
Many effective applications – knowledge search across your own documents, drafting quotes and reports, pre-qualification in customer service – can be built with existing models and clean integration. What matters is a clear process, reliable data and someone in the company who takes ownership. Internal AI champions are trained so that knowledge stays in the company.
From strategy to software
Where standard tools are not enough, SygentiQ GmbH builds custom solutions: RAG systems on company data, AI agents with guardrails and human-in-the-loop, automations with n8n, and open-weight models on-premises when data must not leave the company.

Frequently asked questions about AI consulting
How should a mid-sized company start with AI?
With a one-day AI potential assessment: determine maturity, identify processes with high effort and prioritise two or three use cases. A pilot with a measurable goal follows.
Is on-site consulting possible?
Yes. On-site work is easy in Heilbronn, Stuttgart and the surrounding region, and possible across Germany and the DACH region; remote formats are available as well.
What is the difference between RAG and fine-tuning?
RAG connects a language model to current company documents at runtime and shows sources. Fine-tuning changes the model itself. For questions about your own documents, RAG is usually the better and cheaper choice.
Can company data stay in-house?
Yes. With open-weight models, AI applications can run on-premises or in your own cloud, so data does not leave the company.
